ALESSIA “We contacted Carlene because we were at an absolute loss. After trying some control crying my 2yo went backwards and developed a fear of sleep, her room and anything nap related, it was terrible and it broke my heart daily. Alessia would wake during the night screaming every 2 hours, even co sleeping she would wake crying. BILLIE “When Billie was 3 months old I was struggling to cope with her sleep (or lack of it.) I was referred to a council sleep consultant which ended up being a very negative experience, putting me off the idea of reaching out for help. By the time Billie was 8 months I really needed to get her sleep on track and I connected with Carlene. It was a totally different experience, Carlene listened to me, understood my parenting style and created a plan for Billie’s sleep which I felt very comfortable with. Carlene was always at the end of the phone and was so supportive and gentle in her approach. After just 3 days of gentle sleep training, with a personalised method that absolutely didn’t involve CC OR CIO, Billie was sleeping 7-7 and having lovely long naps. ROMAN "It took us 8 months to finally give sleep training a go. With so many options, we decided to reach out to Carlene as alot of people had recommended her on social media. Bub used to self settle and sleep longer stretches until about 4 months. After that we were back to what felt like the new born stages waking up every 1-2hourly. With going back to work lurking around the corner, I decided sleep training might be the answer. However, we were really skeptical about all the harsh methods and CIO methods out there. Luckily for us we found our ideal sleep consultant on the first go! Carlene uses gentle methods and we were able to still give bub cuddles whilst implementing the method. Given Bub was really stubborn during the consult we were really worried it wasn't going to work. After implementing her methods on the first night we already saw improvements! From waking up 4+ times a night bub only woke up twice! The third night in he was sleeping through! We were gobsmacked and blown away how well her methods and advice helped! 2 months in and Roman is still self settling and waking up maybe once a night, if at all. If he's teething or unwell he may be a bit off but once that has passed he is back to being a delight at night! We have a nice routine and we can much better plan our days. Carlene has changed our lives and reaching out to her is one of the best things we've done for Bub and ourselves. Our only regret is that we didn't reach out to Carlene earlier! She is just such a warm and understanding person, so lovely to deal with. We would definitely recommend Carlene!"
ELLA "I reached out to Carlene after seeing recommendations from other mums on Carlene’s sleep consultancy! My daughter was just hitting 6 months. I was working full time from home and a full time parent to two children. While I didn’t have a huge concern with My LOs ability to go to sleep I need to provide myself with more restructure and consistency. Carlene understood immediately that I wanted to be gentle, nurturing and care for my daughter and really I needed tips on how to make the sleep cycles consistent, quicker and reliable! Carlene was there every day during the consultant period, checking on me and even when I would forget to respond she was there supporting me. Her tips seemed so simple but were so effective and My LO really took to them! She prepared me for the current stage my daughter was in but also for the next stage she would commence in the near future. We are now 4 months since I started with Carlene and my baby consistently sleeps during the day and she is comfortable doing that where ever we are. She sleeps through the night and wakes up happy every day! It assists me that when she has off nights there is valid reason for it. Teething, sickness or her routine was off. It’s not because she hasn’t learnt how to settle herself. I highly recommend Carlene even if you don’t have an issue but more just to sleep how you can support your baby in getting to sleep."
WILLIAM “Sleep sleep everyone needs sleep! Throughout all my three babies we seem to always have some kind of sleep issue. We decided we had to knock some issues out early in the peace. So we contacted Carlene and we began our training. Our experience was overall extremely positive and successful. After a couple of tweaks and process changes we got there. JUNIOR “I really resented being a parent due to my sons sleep patterns. I would often say, I love being a parent, except for when it comes to bed time. It caused so much conflict in my relationship, we even broke up for three months because of it.
